The Ambassador seems to have a puzzled look on his face over the things said by Suplex and the Huntsman but decides he has wasted enough time with the two and turns his back on them.

Giving orders to the crew, "Communications officer. Have you finished the down load that Shammot transimitted from the Sanctifier?"

"Yes, sir."

"Very well. Lock on to the Sanctifier and destroy it. We cannot leave it here to fall into enemy hands and it appears leaving is our only rationale course of action. Not to mention the ship seems to have been defiled by some kind of creatures as best I can piece together by the survivors of the away team."

"Yes, sir. Targeted."

"Fire."

Three large lasers, each of a different color converge on the craft, rupturing a huge section of hull. Then a second volley is shot which appears to pierce straight through the entire craft and blast out the other side, cutting it clean in half. Secondary explosions begin to happen all over the ship remains. One half is blown to small remains. Our ship takes a third shot at the remaining half with a single wider beam weapon which causes most of the craft remains to vaporize.

The Ambassador seems almost a bit sad at the moment but gives the order to proceed on.

"Jump drives ready sir."

"Engage." We all blur for a second as we move beyond the speed of light in the same moment as time and dimensional distance are manipulated to cover unheard of distances. The Huntsman pukes up a little in his mouth and swallows to avoid any embarrassment. The thought goes through his head, “Mmmm, chunky!”

What awaits our remaining heroes at journey’s end?

Fade to black.

Munin is working frantically to try and bandage Shammot and save his life. He thinks - *This @^$# music isn’t making it easy to stay focused.* After a few seconds he realizes he will not be able to save Shammot’s life. The massive blood loss requires an immediate transfusion. Not to mention the acid burns have exposed some internal organs at key places. He is surprised at how similar human anatomy appears to be. Shammot’s left eye is actually melted in the socket and dribbling out the side.

Shamot lurches to grab Munin by the collar and gurgles out, "Tell the Suplex that his parents loved him dearly and that they died to protect him." He coughes, spitting blood up through his teeth and nose. His body convulses in extreme pain; his eye starting to roll back in his head. With extreme effort he rasps out, "Tell him they were both ***** (the word is unintelligible) and that they wanted to protect him from, from, from..." He loses consciousness.

Munin removes his gloves and begins pumping him, uh, for information. At first it is as if he dives into a pool of tar trying to swim while drugged. The state of death and pain garbling his target’s mind. Munin focuses and pushes harder, and when Shammot seems to realize what is happening he opens his mind to reveal all he can. With a sense of relief the memories and thoughts flood Munin’s senses.

Immediately after, Munin realizes there is no door, window, or portal of any kind from which to escape the Kenny G. After the first few hours alone Munin begins to wonder when he will be set free? Or by whom?

After several hours the issue of survival begins to set in. After a few days the thirst and hunger are overpowering, almost as overpowering as the odor. There is a piece of meat available. The blood could provide liquid sustenance. He shudders to think what he may have to do.

Will our hero do what it takes to survive?

Will it make a difference or will he simply be defiling himself to delay the inevitable?

Munin wonders what he was thinking joining this group?
